Samsung Fascinate Now Available for Pre-Order at Best Buy

Samsung’s latest Galaxy S Android smartphone, the Fascinate for Verizon Wireless, is now available for pre-order from Best Buy. The smartphone features a Super AMOLED 4-inch touchscreen display, speedy 3G connectivity for web browsing, mobile hotspot capabilities to allow the phone to connect up to 5 WiFi enabled devices, an HD capable camera/camcorder, and Google’s Android 2.1 operating system.

Other features include:

  • Full HTML browsing capabilities
  • Bing Maps and Bing Search preloaded
  • 3G mobile hotspot capability for use with
  • up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices
  • Super AMOLED 4″ touch-screen display
  • Advanced touch-screen gesture capability
  • Android 2.1 operating system

Best Buy still doesn’t say how much you have to pay for the Fascinate, however, the price is almost certainly $199.99 with a new 2-yr contract on Verizon.

Verizon Announces the Samsung Fascinate

Today Verizon Wireless and Samsung announced the upcoming availability of the Samsung Fascinate, a Galaxy S smartphone.

Powered by Android 2.1, the Fascinate is equipped with support for Google Mobile Services, including, Gmail, YouTube, Android Market, and more.  Additionally, the Fascinate boasts a 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen display, Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application Processor, and an integrated entertainment, multimedia, messaging and social networking experience.

The Samsung Fascinate will sport a Virtual QWERTY Keyboard, a 5.0-megapixel camera/camcorder with Auto-focus and LED flash with HD video recording and playback (720p), Wi-Fi Connectivity, and 2GB of internal memory expandable to 32GB, 16GB microSD included with handset
