Fresh on the heels of the Android 2.2 update, Verizon Wireless says that it will release an update for the HTC Droid Incredible that will allow users of the popular smartphone to enable Adobe Flash 10.1 in their web browsers.
Along with Flash support, the Android 2.2 update also provides faster Web browsing, voice dialing over Bluetooth, and other features.
If you’re phone hasn’t updated automatically yet tyry the manual version by heading to your phone’s settings page and then to, About Phone > System Updates.
You should see the update to Froyo available, which is 93.7MB in size. In case you didn’t know, Froyo will bring Flash Player 10.1, faster WiFi, Mobile hotspot capabilities and 720p Video recording to the Droid Incredible.
Since debuting back in April the HTC Droid Incredible has won legions of new fans with its 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 3.7 inch WVGA (480×800) AMOLED capacitive touch display, and 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
