Verizon Wireless enterprise customers who use LiveCast Media’s live mobile video streaming platform can now make bill payments easier by adding a monthly software charge to their Verizon Wireless bills instead of having to pay the initial licensing fee.
Business customers can use LiveCast’s solution on Verizon Wireless devices to share video from the field with higher ups to assess and control a situation, whether they are dealing with a natural disaster, medical triage or emergency maintenance and repairs. The live streams can be monitored by authorized personnel at headquarters with low latency, or high-quality video can be sent “live to air” on television broadcasts or media websites.
“We offer a broad range of enterprise solutions to meet our customers’ needs, and we are committed to making the payment process for these services as streamlined as possible,” said Benigno Gonzalez, vice president-operations for Verizon Wireless. “The improved billing option allows businesses to eliminate the upfront licensing fee for the software and pay for it monthly with their payment for the wireless services.”
LiveCast offers broad device support for streaming live, ranging from mobile phones to laptops, including IP cameras. All LiveCast streams can be viewed on Verizon Wireless mobile phones, PCs and Macs.
“We are delighted to enable our joint customers with the ability to track all mobile spending in one place with this simplified billing system,” says William Mutual, chief executive officer of LiveCast. “This integration also represents an expansion of our strong relationship with Verizon Wireless.”
