It appears that Verizon Wireless and Motorola finally decided to admit the presence of the highly anticipated Droid X which I’ve been mentioning for some time now.
“Two powerhouses of communications come together to bring you the Droid,” reads the Droid page on the Verizon Wireless website.
It’ll sport an 3.7-inch-sized screen with 854×480 WGVA resolution. The processor will be a fast cortex AE with HW acceleration, and will come stock with 16GB of preinstalled memory that can be bumped out an additional 32GB.
“This isn’t just another smartphone,” continues the Droid page.”It’s a Droid. And it does fast processing.”
Looks like Motorola and Verizon Wireless are looking to give Apple a run for its money. Now if only I could swap out my myTouch for a Droid.
