It’s still a little ways off, but the 2010 NFL season is fast approaching and NFL fans ought to be aware of the options that Verizon Wireless will be offering its customers to ensure they never miss a minute of their favorite NFL team and players.
Until the season kicks off NFL Mobile is available for staying on top of team training camps, and Verizon Wireless promises to add new features next month to help football fans get ready for the season and for their fantasy drafts and leagues.
Customers who download NFL Mobile will have access to live NFL Network programs, video on demand and all the latest news, blogs and commentary.
When the 2010 NFL season does formally kick off in September, NFL Mobile will offer live streaming of NBC’s Sunday Night Football and NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football. These programs join NFL Network, which streams live seven days a week, 24 hours a day on a year-round basis and is the only network fully dedicated to the NFL and the sport of football.
NFL RedZone, the wildly popular channel from NFL Network which airs live or near-live look-ins of every key play and touchdown from Sunday afternoon games, is also on the way.
And to celebrate the inaugural season of NFL Mobile on Verizon Wireless, the NFL Mobile application is included as part the monthly data plan for 3G Smartphones.
